Americano spritz cocktail recipe

A classic Italian aperitivo from the heart of Piedmont, the Spritz is iconic in Italian drinking culture and an essential pre-dinner drink that has been enjoyed for centuries. Light and refreshing, the Cocchi Spritz combines Cocchi Americano, white grapefruit juice and Prosecco.

Ingredients

60ml Cocchi Americano

20ml Fresh white grapefruit juice

Top up with sparkling wine

1 slice of white grapefruit

Fresh mint sprig

Glass

Highball or Wine glass

How to mix

Starting with the Americano, build all of the ingredients in the glass including the ice cubes and top up with sparkling wine to the top of the glass. Garnish with a fresh mint sprig and a grapefruit wedge.
