Metropole cocktail recipe perfectly balancing the smooth Hine Cognac

The Metropole is a lesser known Cognac cocktail compared to the Harvard, but equally tasty. Using dry vermouth rather than the classic sweet vermouth gives the drink a delectable herbaceous, fresh character, perfectly balancing the smooth Hine Cognac.

Ingredients

50ml H By Hine

15ml Chazalettes Extra Dry

2 Dashes of Orange Bitters

1 Dash of Peychaud

2.5ml Cherry Syrup or Sugar Syrup

Garnish

Maraschino Cherry

Glass

Vintage Coupette

How to mix

Add all ingredients into a mixing glass, fill with ice and stir down until chilled. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
