Green point cocktail recipe
This is originally a drink by Michael McIlroy, formerly of Milk & Honey NY. Infusing Michter's Rye with mint, and balancing out the vermouth and the Whiskey, just plays nicely into the hands of the rich and herbaceous notes of this beautifully complex and smooth Rye.
Ingredients
35ml Michter's Rye, Mint Steeped
35ml Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
5ml Yellow Charturse
2 dashes Orange Bitters
1 dash Angostura bitters
Glass
Martini
How to mix
Add all ingredients into a mixing glass, add ice and stir until properly chilled and diluted. When ready, strain whilst pouring into a chilled glass. Garnish.For your mint steeped Michter's Rye, add a pack of mint from your local supermarket into your bottle of Rye, and leave to steep for 24 hours. Once ready, remove mint and filter if necessary.

Discarded lemon zest and finish with a small mint sprig
