Dalmore Port Wood
Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the spirit is initially matured in the finest American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes.
The precious whisky is then apportioned between the American white oak casks and aged Tawny Port pipes from W & J Graham’s vineyard in Portugal. The two parts are then brought back together to harmonise.
The Aroma Sweet red berries, Seville oranges, plummy fruits and sticky toffee pudding.
On the Palate, Nectarines, creamy caramel, roasted chestnuts and Java coffee.
Finishing Notes, Rich plums, sultanas, Sanguinello blood oranges and macerated cherries.
