Amrut Single Malt (46% ABV) is a single malt whisky from India made from heritage barley grown in the foothills of the Himalayas in India. Amrut has been producing single malt whisky in Bangalore since 2002. The whiskies produced here are subject to intense heat during the maturation due to the tropical climate of the region, which means that the whiskies reach maturity three-to-four times faster than in Scotland however the angel’s share can be as high as 15%. Amrut Single Malt is a rich and complex whisky with notes of dark chocolate, malt milkshake, tropical fruits and baking spices. It’s ideal neat or mixed in cocktails like the Manhattan or whisky sour.
