Tequila Sunrise Cocktail- This beautifully distinctive cocktail can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
The Tequila Sunrise has a distinctive showy appearance with gradations of colour resembling a sunrise. It contains Tequila, Orange juice, and Grenadine and is served unmixed in a tall glass. The more popular modern version of this cocktail with the ingredients listed above originates from California and was invented by Bobby Lozoff and Billy Rice, two young bartenders at the Trident in Sausalito to kick off the Rolling Stones' 1972 tour. Mick Jagger took such a shine to it he went on to order them all across America, even dubbing the tour itself their "cocaine and tequila sunrise tour". The Eagles too were also fans penning a song entitled Tequila Sunrise for their Desperado album.
